Bonjour, ya’ll!  French has been alive and well in Alabama for over 300 years, so why stop now?!  Like the AATF itself, our mission is to promote the teaching and learning of French, the language through which so many vibrant cultures around the world express themselves.  As a professional organization, we support French teachers from all institutions and at all levels of instruction by providing opportunities which stimulate professional growth, foster broad interest in the French language, and elevate the teaching profession.  We value connection, camaraderie, and celebration.  We believe that belonging to the community which is the Alabama Chapter of the AATF will enrich one’s personal and professional life—and will be an investment in the healthy future of French in our state for years to come!
