Privacy Policy
The American Associations of Teachers of French (AATF) takes the privacy of its members and customers very seriously.
The AATF collects personal information such as name, address, school name and address, phone, fax, email, and teaching level. This information is submitted voluntarily to the AATF in a variety of ways which include membership application or renewal forms, registration forms, order forms, or through the creation of an online store account. The AATF does not collect personal information from users browsing its website.
The AATF regularly communicates with its members via email. By supplying your email address you consent to receive communications from the AATF in this manner. If you do not supply an email address, you acknowledge that you are aware you will not receive notices and announcements from the AATF.
The AATF occasionally makes its members’ postal addresses available for one-time usage to companies offering products or services of potential interest to our members or to related non-profit organizations. Members may choose to opt out of these mailings by informing us here . In addition, exhibitors at our annual convention are sent a one-time use list of all registrants containing mailing and email addresses. This is a benefit to those companies supporting our convention.
Any other membership information is for internal use only and never released to another company or organization.
The AATF does not retain credit card information provided by its members and customers. The AATF does not have access to the credit card information of those who pay online. For payments processed in-house, the credit card information is shredded as soon as it is no longer needed.
All documents containing members’ personal information are shredded as soon as it is no longer needed.
Return Policy
The AATF does not accept returned merchandise. Any defective or damaged items will be replaced within 90 days. Memberships can be refunded for 30 days. Other refunds are issued only for defective or damaged items or for double payments.
