Now that artificial intelligence has taken the world by storm, world language teachers need to know how AI can enrich our courses.  The great news is that there are numerous AI-based sites and apps that will enrich our teaching experience, save us a tremendous amount of time, and fully engage our students. This presentation will feature a collection of the best sites along with a live demonstration of each one. Links to all of these sites will be easily accessed through the presenter's website. Get ready to be astounded and impressed by what AI can bring to world language instruction.

About the presenter - Ed Weiss has spent his career teaching French at both the high school and college levels in the Philadelphia area, as well as serving as world language department chair at the secondary level.  Ed has worked for the College Board for over twenty years and has served as an AP reader, table leader and exam leader for the current French Language and Culture exam.  Ed is a national consultant for the College Board and has led Advanced Placement Summer Institutes for French teachers around the country.  He has also developed workshop and online materials for the College Board.  Ed is currently the world language curriculum specialist for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit.  He is a three-time recipient of National Endowment for the Humanities summer institute grants and has been a presenter for ACTFL, the AATF, and at the French AP reading.
