Catherine Thefenne

Cat Théfenne is a passionate French language educator with extensive academic and professional experience. She earned her undergraduate degree in French from Louisiana State University with a concentration in Secondary Education as well as a Masters in the Art of Teaching Language from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dedicated to advancing French education, Cat’s teaching career spans diverse roles and institutions. She currently teaches secondary French levels I, II, and IV at a private school in Baton Rouge, but has previously taught in the public school system as well and has taught ages 5 to 65. Cat is passionate about fostering student engagement, designing meaningful learning experiences, and supporting the professional growth of her peers in language education.
