Description: FASRI is recruiting a full time Maternelle/Preschool French Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year. Accredited by the French Ministry of Education and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, FASRI delivers a comprehensive bilingual program and serves 180 students from Rhode Island and around the world from PK1/Petite Section to 8th grade/4eme. At the end of preschool, FASRI students have acquired the foundations of academics in French and English, speaking ,writing reading and math. Their curiosity, creativity, and sense of kindness toward others has been cultivated through play-based, hands-on, and art-infused activities.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Education and related fields - Bachelor is a minimum
French proficiency (native speaker and C2 level) required
Knowledge of the French curriculum and standards
At least 5 years of French teaching experience, preferably in an international context
Excellent listener and team player
Enthusiasm for multilingual education
