The AATF currently has 11 Commissions whose work focuses on various areas of interest to French teachers. Our Commissions have produced or are currently working on publications, manuals, Web sites, workshops, and other opportunities to benefit AATF members. Click here for more information. Please contact the chair of any Commission which interests you.
Advocacy for French programs is one of the most important activities of the AATF. We work to provide members with the support and information they need to defend their programs. The Advocacy Depot provides links to useful resources and information by state. The Advocacy Wiki provides documents, sample letters, strategies, and testimonials that teachers can use to defend programs under threat at all levels. Our newest resource is the Advocacy Facebook page.
The AATF regularly publishes volumes relative to the teaching of French and Francophone cultures for the benefit of members.
