All submissions must be received by December 15, 2016. Do not fax or send hard copy of your proposal. You will receive a screen confirmation of your proposal when you hit "Submit." This will be your acknowledgement.
You will be notified via e-mail by January 15, 2017 if your proposal has been accepted.
Proposals may be related to any area of language, literature, culture, pedagogy, or linguistics touching any area of the French-speaking world.
Presentations may be given in French or English. Please ues the
language in which you are most comfortable. Give your title and
abstract in the language of presentation.
Presentations are to be given as lectures or talks. Do not simply read a paper aloud. Audience interaction is strongly encouraged.
If you wish to organize a session with several presenters, each co-presenter should fill out this form and submit his or her own contact information and abstract (if applicable). An overall description listing the co-presenters should be submitted by the session organizer. If the organizer is both presenting and moderating, he/she should submit an overall description as well as an individual description of his or her presentation. Please indicate clearly in the description which is the overall session proposal.
Each presenter should list his or her individual audio-visual needs. Please note that there are charges for some audiovisual equipment.
Each participant may be the principal presenter only once. Preference will be given to proposals submitted by AATF members. Presenters must be 2017 AATF members to participate in the convention.
Any session that is presenting a commercial product or service must be scheduled as an exhibitor session. No exceptions.
